STEAM TABLE

The steam table on the California Cheap Hot Dog Cart has three powerful cast iron burners and can accommodate various size pots and lids. You can use the steamer for the buns, chili and sauerkraut. You can also steam your hot dogs since each steam table has its own burner and shut off valve. The stainless steel pans and lids (3 spillage pans, 4 1/2 pans and 6 1/6 pans and 2 roll tops) are easily removable for cleaning. NSF approved pans and lids. More hot dog carts in our shop

SINKS (4 total)

The California hot dog cart has three ware washing sinks with hot and cold water. Each ware washing sink is large enough to accommodate the largest utensil. Ware washing sinks are 12″ wide x 12″ long x 10″ deep. Each ware washing sink has a mixing swivel faucet capable of providing hot water at a minimum of 120 degrees Fahrenheit and cold water at 99 degrees Fahrenheit or less as required by law.

An 8″ high metal splashguard separates the hand washing sink from the other three sinks. The hand washing sink is 12″ wide x 9″ long x 10″ deep. It has the same swivel faucet type as the others.

Cheap Hot Dog Cart WATER HEATER

The water heater has a four gallon capacity and can heat water to a minimum of 90 degrees Fahrenheit.  A water line connects the heater with the fresh water tank.

WATER PUMP

The California hot dog cart has an electrical water pump capable of delivering a minimum of 1 gallon per minute of hot and cold water.

POTABLE WATER TANK

The 4/5 gallon potable water tanks on the California hot dog cart are sufficient in volume to fulfill the required 5 gallon minimum for hand washing and the 15 gallon for ware washing and food preparation.

WASTEWATER TANK

Four sink drains connect to the waste water tank on the California Cheap Hot Dog Cart with watertight seals. The wastewater tank has an air vent water flow to prevent potential flooding of the interior of the cart. The tank has a capacity of 36 gallons and it has a discharge valve to facilitate complete draining.

BEVERAGE BIN

This Cheap Hot Dog Cart has an  insulated beverage bin on the California hot dog cart is easily reachable for customers to help themselves. It maximizes the life of ice and has its own drain and plug. It holds 144 cans and is easy to refill. The hinged lid has a chrome handle.

REFRIGERATION UNIT

The California hot dog cart has an electrical refrigeration unit to store all potentially hazardous foods as required by California law.

STORAGE COMPARTMENT

There are two storage compartments on the California hot dog cart. One is in the front and one is in the back. The storage compartment in the back is the perfect place to keep extra napkins, extra foil, paper bags, straws, tongs, spoons, etc. The storage compartment in the front under the steam table is the place to keep your fresh hot dog buns. Both compartments have a door with a safety latch.

UMBRELLA

The 9 ft. market umbrellas on the California hot dog cart can be the color of your choice. The umbrella holders are at each side of the cart, which gives you perfect shade. Every now and then you can remove the cloth part of the umbrellas and through them in the laundry machine.
Market umbrellas are less expensive and faster to replace than vinyl umbrellas. Vinyl umbrellas are high maintenance because they collect a lot of grease and dust. Therefore, you will have to clean them with soap and a brush at least once a week.

HEATING SOURCE

The steam table on the California hot dog cart run on propane. Two twenty-pound propane tanks (not included) are located at the front part of the trailer in its own propane compartment. This compartment has an easily-accessible door and a safety latch.

TRAILER

The California hot dog cart rests on a D.O.T. approved heavy duty trailer (title available) with baked enamel finished. The leaf spring suspension system allows you to tow it at freeway speeds with safety. The tires size is 4.8” x 8” standard.

TOWING BAR

The  cart towing bar is removable (great feature, as this looks better and you can walk around the trailer without having to jump over it).The ball coupler is 1 7/8″ an it has two safety chains, and it is also available with an optional 2″ size.

LIGHTS

The lights on the California hot dog cart are tail, stop, signal and hazards. The wiring harness for the lights is male. The lights come with a license plate holder.

WHEEL LEVELING JACK

Keep your California hot dog cart on the level with this easy-to-use 1,500 lb. capacity swing-back trailer jack. The jack has a side crank handle to level it. Just fold it back and away for travelling.
